Vintage clothing was sized differently than present day clothing. Because of this we highly recommend that all customers read our measurements and descriptions carefully before purchasing an item. If you are unsure that an item will fit you, please compare the listed measurements to an item you currently own to insure your new item will be a perfect fit. We do note an “approximate size” - an educated guess to the modern size – with all of our items; however, the most accurate sizing is always based on the measurements. All bust, waist, and hip measurements are taken straight across while garment is laid flat. We then double all the measurements to get the accurate fit. For example, if the bust laying flat measures 16’ it is a 32’ fit.
